Course objectives
The course will introduce the students the basics of creating web pages by HTML and Cascading Style Sheets, CSS. The basis of the work with editorial systems, their installation and administration.
Syllabus
  • Basis of the principle of creating web pages. HTML and CSS language. Semantics and structure of the document. Editors and development system. Practical creating of static web pages in HTML5 and CSS3.
    Editorial Systems. License Terms, commercial and freeware editorial systems. Basics of the most widely used editorial systems. Blogging systems. Administration, management of users and content. Dynamic languages and databases used in editorial systems. Installation and launching of the editorial systems.
