Ověření poznatků a zkušeností získaných ve studiu v praxi. Cílem odborné knihovnické praxe je seznámit studenty s chodem veřejné knihovny v okresním městě. Studenti se aktivně zapojují do práce ve službách i v útvaru nákupu a zpracování knihovních fondů, kulturně výchovných a vzdělávacích aktivit knihovny i revizí knihovního fondu.
