Course objectives
One-semester course aims to familiarize participants with the issue of the La T?ne period in the Czech Republic accounting in a European context. After a general introduction (definition of the terminology, definition of the topic, history of research, periodization and chronology of the La T?ne period) introduces with with the most important issues of settlement areas of our country in the La T?ne period (the beginnings of the La T?ne period, the Celtic expansion, royal tombs, issues of the burial lands, issues of settlements, opiddums, Celtic economy and numismatics, the spiritual life of the Celts, Celtic art, foreign influences and contacts with nonceltic Oikumens) with an emphasis on material culture. As a part of the lesson is also an exercise.
