The course focuses on systematic development of the students` abilities to create various text types in English. The course follows up Academic Writing 1.

    3. The author`s approach (intent, attitude, tone, bias, assumptions, implications)
    4. Writing for different audiences
    5. Persuasive writing

    7. Doublespeak, vagueness, wordiness
    8. Critical reading, critical thinking, critical writing
    9. Argument (strategies for persuasion, errors in reasoning)
    10. Freewriting, writer`s readiness
