- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to inform the students of the importance of guiding, the characteristics of a tour guide's personality, the development of guiding and of the requirements on a guide's performance. The students will get acquainted with the methodology of a tour guide's preparation, performance and commentary as well as the agenda before, during and after a trip depending on the type of transport or the type of tourism. The aim of the course is to prepare the students from the point of view of theory as well as from the point of view of practice for the role of a tour guide in tourism.
