- Course objectives
- The students will be acquainted with current methods and approaches in the research of pre-modern European societies by the means of using concrete historical records as well as paradigmatic examples of secondary literature (monographs and articles). Attention is paid above all to the following fields and paradigms: sociological history, cultural history, microhistory, history of the mentalities, linguistic turn, comparative history, Visual history, new political history etc.
