- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to inform the students of natural and social conditions for tourism in the Czech Republic. The students will get the general knowledge of the location of cultural and historic attractions, social establishments and natural attractions on the territory of the Czech Republic. Specific emphasis is put on the knowledge of spa localities and healing springs in Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia. An inseparable part is a detailed knowledge of spa localities providing spa care, their history and tourist attractions. The students will also get acquainted with the system of nature and cultural sights protection in the Czech Republic. The students will get the knowledge of regional geography and will be able to compare particular regions.
