Course objectives

The course is focused on further development of the skill of speaking and the capacity to make a conversation on a known topic expressing ones own opinion. Students make a comment on newspaper articles relating to actual events.

Syllabus

• 1.-2. Il conflitto d'interesse: la tutela dell'imparzialita' di un governo; l'elusione delle
  norme stabilite
  3.-4. Il legittimo sospetto: i conflitti tra magistratura e governo; la reciproca
  delegittimazione
  5.-6. La riforma e la crisi del sistema scolastico in Italia: la riforma applicata e poi
  annullata; le nuove proposte del ministero; la complessita' della situazione
  universitaria; le spinte ad una semplificazione
  7. Esercitazione in classe; dibattito su alcuni punti di vista emersi negli elaborati
  8.-.9. La criminalita' domestica ed il terrorismo: incidenti dovuti a situazioni di estrema
  tensione; statistiche sulla mortalita' infantile causata; il terrorismo legato a figure di
  disadattati
