- Course objectives
- Subject "Úvod do filozofie 2" (Introduction to Philosophy 2) is outlined as a basic propaedeutic for history of ancient and medieval philosophy. Apart from philosophy history itself (its figures, significant writings, ideas and attitudes) the course will focus on the issue of the philosophy itself too. Students will be introduced into key topics, basal terminology and fundamental questions of period philosophy, including historical and cultural context, determining its creation and development. The class will use the method of reading main texts of philosophy, text analysis and discussion.
