Course objectives
This course offers an introduction to the basic concepts and methods of semantic and pragmatic analyses. It aims at word and prototype semantics, cognitive semantics and sentence and text semantics. The second part of the course pragmatics will be introduced as a linguistic discipline analyzing the meaning of whole texts.
