Course objectives
The aim of one-semester lecture series is to present cultural-political, cultural and social activities of German and Jewish ethnic group in the Czech lands in the 19th century and further highlight the new trends occurring after the establishment of Czechoslovakia. Attention will be paid to the formation of national cultures in the Czech Republic and nationalization of public and private life, including mutual stereotypes. Will be monitored to meet and influence of German, Jewish and Czech culture in the Czech lands.
