Course objectives
The aim of this course is to teach students to distinguish between general words and terms when translating specialized texts. Students will learn about the function and importance of terms for communication among experts in a specific subject field and they will familiarize themselves with various types of specialized dictionaries. When translating, they will learn to work with concepts and definitions.
