Course objectives
In the course students should master the basic knowledge from the bibliometric laws, bibliometric methods, indicators of evaluation of scientific publications and methodology of the bibliometric analysis of science and disciplines of individual states. The development of this discipline of information science as well as ties to informetrics and scientometrics are explained because of frequent confusion.
