- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to introduce the basics of theatre theory, hand in hand with the basics of theatrical terminology. An integral part of the course is a presentation of a variety of theatrologic methodologies and schools, as well as - after the crossing of theatrical framework the basics of theoretical scenology. The purpose of this cultivation of scenic sense is to improve students' ability of quality reflection of scenic activities in general. During the course other professional literature will be recommended, the lecture will be supplemented by various demonstrations and presentations of students.

- Teacher's information
- 1. Participation in lectures and active participation in class discussions and analyses, based on the knowledge of professional literature and dramatic texts.
2. The basic orientation in required literature (professional publications and dramas).
3. Independent elaboration and presentation of the seminar paper (approx. 5?10 standard pages of text).
4. Self-study, which extends "in-class education" by reading recommended literature and dramas, as well as visits to theatre performances.
5. Successful completion of the oral exam.
List of topics will be presented during the opening lesson.
