Course objectives
A subject gives a basic information from pedagogical and social psychology. A target of this stadium is oriented students in concept and basic themes. And so in way that they could draw an incentives for reflection over the problems and tasks with whom they are in contact at schools in these days. This study should help an optimization of work with students in educationally process.
Syllabus
  • 1. Pedagogical and social psychology: definition, object, and methods.
    2. Teacher`s profession: needs, uncertainty and loads, ambivalence and dilemma of teachers, teachers prestige.
    3. Difficult life situations. Stress and its control (coping strategies)
    4. Motivation. Short and long term strategies influencing learning motivation.
    5. Socialisation - mechanisms, social learning by means of positive and negative enforcement
    6. Social learning and evaluation (social perception, errors in social perception, attitudes, prejudices and stereotypes
    7. Interaction teacher student: Process of cause allocation, causal attribution and school performance. Teacher`s perception of students.
    8. School assessment: Function, psychological risks, and types of teaching.
    9. Student and his resources, the way the teacher sees education.
    10. The classroom as a social group. Structure and dynamics of social group. Diagnostics of social relations in the class and possible interventions.
