- Course objectives
- The course introduces the structure of German sentences, the individual parts of speech and the rules for their position in sentences. This knowledge is necessary for learning German as a foreign language. Each unit consists of a theoretical part, which introduces the definitions and rules, and a practical part consisting of tasks. The tasks point at syntax features which are problematic for non-native speakers, e.g. negation, word order, passive etc.
