Course objectives
Course is focused on description of matter of compact stars and its impact on properties of this objects.
Syllabus
  • Compact stars, its classification and common properties.
    Equations of state in the outer part of neutron stars and hybrid stars.
    Equations of state in the neutron star cores.
    Interaction of particles in the interior of neutron stars.
    Binding energy of symmetric nuclear matter. Saturation density and properties of matter close to it.
    Beta-equilibrium and neutron star matter.
    Strange matter, its description and models of strange stars.
