Course objectives
The lecture deals with German literature from the Baroque to the end of the First World War, its periodization and the most important directions and currents. Special attention is paid to Baroque literature, which is closely connected with Silesia (so-called "Silesian schools"), as well as romantic literature, which still enjoys great popularity of readers and is also a grateful object of research interest.
Learning outcomes
Orientation in the contemporary English literature of various genres. The skill of critical analysis of literary texts.

  • 7.–8. Romantismus (s přihlédnutím k jejímu vlivu na německé kulturní dějiny)
