- Course objectives
- The course provides students with concentrated preparation for application in practice after graduation of SP in cultural and historical facilities in accordance with the profile of the graduate. The aim of the internship is to equip students with skills to perform activities and provide selected services in the field of care for cultural heritage and cultural and historical practical activities, to stimulate the development of their organizational skills. Completion of the internship contributes to greater motivation of students to apply the acquired knowledge and skills from teaching and thus increase their applicability in the labor market. The internship is organized as continuous, in the range of 3 weeks. It typically takes place in institutions focusing on the preservation, presentation and education of cultural heritage (museums, art / exhibition galleries, archeoparks, open-air museums, installed buildings, monument care workplaces, etc.). The student performs a guide service, participates in the preparation and implementation of animation programs. for children and adults, provides counseling services; it may participate in activities related to the administration and presentation of funds and collections, in the organizational provision of the operation of institutions or its components. Within the team, it participates in cooperation with other institutions, in the preparation of comprehensive programs and projects. The internship takes place under the methodical guidance of a cooperating expert from practice / institution (supervisor) and supervision and subsequent evaluation by the head of practice. The student keeps a written diary; receive a supervisor rating. Knowledge is verified in the form of an oral discussion.
