- Course objectives
- Basic principles of operation of various types of organizations dealing with products and projects from the field of culture, their legislative regulation in the Czech Republic and possible methods of financing. Theoretical starting points applied to concrete cultural projects from practice (mainly in V4 countries). The content, meaning and methods of non-governmental non-profit organization fundraising. The goal is to introduce students to the basics of the issue of financing organizations of the non-profit sector and familiarize them with the possibilities of multi-source financing. The main emphasis is placed on the correct processing of grant applications and on the presentation of individual grant schemes available to applicants in the Czech Republic. Students will be able to search for resource opportunities for nonprofit organizations, use fundraising methods to raise funds, and process basic grant applications.
