Course objectives
The course English 4 is a follow-up to the courses English 1.-3. and its aim is to further develop students' already acquired knowledge. Emphasis is placed on the grammar-lexical aspect of the language and the harmonious development of all four language skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking) so that students can communicate comprehensively and grammatically correctly in everyday situations, both verbally and in writing at a given language level. The topics covered reflect the lessons of seven and eight recommended literature. These topics will be expanded to include additional materials reflecting the specific needs of students in order to deepen their knowledge of English-speaking countries in Europe and the world and to reinforce awareness of the existence of different cultures and societies in the contemporary multicultural world.
