- Students will learn to understand general typographic principles, get acquainted with high-typographic document creation tools. Learn how to work with a professional document and publication system.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to:
- describe and apply general typographic principles and rules;
- create basic types of documents in LaTeX; - Syllabus
- 1.-2. Creating a printed document in the 21st century. 3. Basic concepts and working in LaTeX. 4. Document structure, automatic content creation. 5. Formatting text and paragraphs. 6. Text environments, enumeration lists and footnotes. 7. Creating tables. 8. Inserting images, editing headers and footers. 9. Page layout and editing. 10.-11. Typesetting technical text. 12. Bibliography. 13. Creating special documents -- letter, presentation.
