Druhá část cyklu navazuje na probrané hláskosloví a tvarosloví. Na přednáškách je probírána slovotvorba a syntax, a to od prajazyka až po novočeštinu. Semináře jsou opět věnovány rozboru textů různých vývojových období s ohledem na probranou látku.
