Stručná anotace předmětu: Cílem předmětu je představit studentům možnosti, které počítač a internet poskytují učitelům při jejich práci a při přípravě. Seznamuje s textovými a výukovými počítačovými programy, elektronickými slovníky, s programy pro tvorbu pracovních listů pro žáky a jejich využitím ve výuce a také s seznamuje také s využitím počítačové technologie při přípravě na vyučování a samostudiu. Na program přednášek navazují semináře, které probíhají ve speciální počítačové multimediální učebně určené pro výuku jazyků.V seminářích se posluchači naučí využívat rychlé a pokročilé vyhledávání pramenů i textů vhodných pro tvorbu pracovních listů i pro samostudium. Na závěr posluchači vypracují projekt, při kterém využijí získané dovednosti. Sylabus přednášky: 1. Využití počítačů ve výuce cizích jazyků, možnosti a omezení 2. Přehled vyhledávacích programů a jejich funkce 3. Textové editory a tabulkové procesory 4. Tvorba pracovních listů 5. Výukové programy 6. Multimediaální jazykové programy 7. Internetové jazykové kurzy on-line 8. Elektronické slovníky 9. Virtuální knihovny 10. Rozvoj komunikativních dovedností pomocí: e-mailu, chatu, news groups, keypals/penpals 11. Certifikace - ECDL 12. Využití elektronických časopisů, novin a odborných periodik Sylabus semináře: 1. Computer-Assisted Language Learning: Strengths and weaknesses 2. Working with Internet search engines; Choosing and using web portals 3. Using word processors to create language learning and teaching materials 4. Using Copy and Paste functions; Inserting pictures and charts into text documents 5. Creating language learning worksheets 6. First steps with CALL software 7. Using dictionaries (on-line and CD-ROM) 8. Searching and ordering books via the Internet; Visiting virtual libraries 9. Language self-study materials on the Internet 10. Personal communication over the Internet: e-mail, chat, groups, keypals/penpals 11. What is the European Computer Driving Licence? (the standard for IT skills & knowledge) 12.
