Course objectives (in Czech)
Seminář zaměřený na postižení základních problému estetického myšlení od antiky po 20. století se zvláštním důrazem na (středo)evropský kontext od 18. století a na situaci v českých zemích od konce 18. století do druhé světové války. Další témata tvoří profily význačných osobností estetického myšlení (např. Platón, J. J. Winckelmann, J. W. Goethe, F. Schiller) a pozornost věnovaná mezním situacím v reflexi umělecké tvorby: problém vztahu estetiky a umění, postavení teorie a dějin umění a filozofie umění, umělecká kritika.
