- Course objectives
- The aim of this course is to present the basic knowledge from infromation user's and reader's psychology in the library-information environment, and then outline a connection this course has to pedagogy, psychology, sociology and literature-scientific disciplines. Then it focuses on pegagogical processes in relation to the information user, especially on the specific librarian methods of working with users, categorization of information users and readers, the individual and collective methods of working with users, information institutions and library information policies, basic methods of readers' information needs research in the context of current development of library and information science.
