Předmět je veden formou přednášky. Po ukončení předmětu bude student se bude student orientovat v oboru sémiotiky a sémantiky, ovládat terminologii s ním spojenou, která je součástí témat probíraných v přednáškových cyklech a samostudia základní a doporučené odborné literatury. Požadavky ke zkoušce: znalost látky v rozsahu přednášek a témat zadaných k samostudiu z odborné literatury.
