Course objectives
The course continues Latin for Students of Italian 1. The attention is dedicated to the perfect and supine stem of Latin verbs and numbers. The aim is to gain better knowledge of Latin reding texts (Tacitus, roman inscriptions, Itala and Vulgata, Chronikon Aulae Regiae). Basic differences between classical and vulgar Latin are presented.

    5. Perfect stem, active perfect indicative
    6. Supine stem, passive perfect and active future participle
    7. Passive perfect indicative, periphrastic active conjugation
    8. Active and passive past perfect indicative
    9. Active and passive future II
    10. Numbers: cardinal and ordinal
    11. Irregular verbs
    12. From Latin to Italian (Appendix Probi)
