- Course objectives
- The aim of the seminar is to analyze and interpret selectde works of Czech historiography of the 19th and 20th centuries.

2. Liberal historiography of the 19th century and its protagonists (Tomeks introduction to his History of Prague)
3. Organization of historical research in the Bohemian lands till 1914
4. Positivist and materialist innovations
5. The dispute on the sense of Czech history

7. Marxist historiography in the interwar period (Jan Slavíks intepretation of the Hussite movement)
