- Course objectives
- The courses Basics of Robotics is for students who are interested in scope of artificial intelligence and rapidly developer field of robotics.
- Syllabus
- The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with this scope, its history, basic terms, algorithms and also with other scopes which are closely related to robotics. Students also will be acquainted with some types of robots and their hardware equipment such as servomotors, gyroscopes, cameras, mainboards, etc.). In case of practical part of the subject students will be also acquainted with construction of robots, their software implementation followed by configuration and programming.
1. Basic of robotics (terms, history and development of robotics)
2. Related scopes to robotics (cybernetics, automatization, artificial intelligence, etc.)
3. Using robots in practice (industry, army, medicine, cosmology, etc.)
4. Sensors of robots (sensor, camera, etc.)
5. Actuators of robots and other related hardware (servomotors, GPS modules, gyroscopes, etc.)
