Course objectives
The language of chemistry, pharmacy and ecology is a very specific kind of language. This course is designed to make the students confident mainly in the grammatical and lexical areas of this language. For this reason, the course is entirely practical. It presents authentic materials and deals with situations translators in the field are likely to encounter. By the end of the course students should be able to translate chemical, pharmaceutical and ecology-oriented texts with ease and confidence.
