Course objectives
Putting research into the issue of historic landscapes and archaeological prospecting, meeting with their methodology, terminology and history, practical teaching basic methods of prospecting species, with emphasis on the application of ICT in research in the field and during processing and presentation. Classes will take place partly in the field and partly in a foreign language.
Syllabus
  • 1 / Research the historical landscape - Introduction , history , terminology .
    2 / Methodology archaeological prospection - synchronic and diachronic research direction , destructive, destructive prospection methods .
    3 / Historical maps and iconographic sources and application of ICT in their research.
    4 / Visual surface survey , topographic - geodetic measurements.
    5 / Remote surface exploration landscape - oblique, vertical images, photogrammetry , 3D scanning, radio frequency and laser imaging.
    6 / Prospecting destructive methods - surface collection and analysis using ICT.
    7 / Destructive methods of prospection - injection wells, mikrosondáž , probing and analysis using ICT .
    8 / Geophysical methods of prospecting - geoelectric and electromagnetic resistance , metal detectors.
    9 / Geophysical prospecting methods - gravimetric.
    10 / Geophysical methods of prospecting - magnetometric.
    11 / Geophysical prospecting methods - radiometric, geothermal, seismic
    12 / Geochemical and geobotanical methods .
    13 / Concluding a test.
