Course objectives
Lecture focuses mainly on issues of political and national development of multinational Habsburg monarchy, the formation of national companies as part of the European transformation of feudal estates structures in modern civil society in the context of the development of Czech-German relations in the Czech Republic and the Empire, including the changing social, economic, cultural and mentality, which through the society in the 19th and early 20th century. Interpretation will be focused on the following topics: pre-March in Austria, 1848 in the Habsburg monarchy, neo-absolutism - attempted new state and society dualism - the idea of ??the state Austro-Hungarian relationship between Czechs and Germans and accretion Czech-German antagonism, the formation of modern political parties in cisleithan , franchise development and democratization of political life, economic, social development and cultural development of the monarchy
