Course objectives
The course follows up on English Literature 1 and 2. It focuses more closely on the development and shape of British Romanticism in poetry, prose, drama and literary criticism. The course will deal with the development of British Romanticism in the context of European Romanticism and also its influence on literature written during the reign of Queen Victoria.
