- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The course introduces students, in connection with the course Artificial Intelligence, into the problems of applications of artificial intelligence in the field knowledge and expert systems.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be able to:
to identify and describe the basic features of the architecture of systems and its individual parts, basic and additional system modules,
- apply the fuzzy approach in the creation of knowledge systems
- describe the evaluation, verification and testing of systems. - Syllabus

- 2. Knowledge and representation of knowledge
- 3. Determinism, nondeterminism, Knowledge-based/expert systems
- 4. Knowledge rule base, fact base, basis of inference mechanism
- 5. Inference mechanism
- 6. Other modules of knowledge-based/expert system
- 7. Knowledge-based engineering
- 8. Fuzzy expert systems
