Course objectives
Students will learn the basic concepts of film art, film language, types and genres of film, historical overview of film versions of literary works, the principles of film adaptations of literary works , the types of rewriting, screenplay. The seminars will be devoted to a detailed analysis of specific films and comparison with literary works.
