Course objectives
The course seeks to capture the development of economic and social history in the Czech lands from the beginning of the modern age to the present, ie from the 15th century to the 21st century. Attention is paid not only to the production of handicrafts, manufactories or factories, but also to the development of agricultural production, extraction of raw materials, the monetary sector and the field of services. Emphasis is placed on monitoring modernization trends and the context of the Czech economy with the European and world economy.
Learning outcomes

Republican management 1918-1939 9. Economic fluctuations of the second republic 10. War economy 11. Post-war reconstruction 12. Steel concept and search for reforms 13. Communist economy of the 70s and 80s, market system after 1989cade (M. Pullmann).
