Course objectives
The aim of the course is to familirize students withe the history of the World literature of the 20th century and of his turn.
Syllabus
  • Modernism and avant-gardes in the World literature in the beginning of the 20th century
    Modernist novel (J. Joyce, V. Woolf, M. Proust)
    Literary movements after the 2nd world war (e. g. existencialism, neorealism, nouveau roman, theatre of the absurd, beat generation, magic realism)
