Course objectives
The course introduces the main trends in contemporary English literature. Students will get acquainted with works of significant contemporary authors writing in English through their book production as well as film and TV adaptations. Students will discuss individual films, their episodes, characters and themes. The course will also include a critical comparison of film adaptations with the originals.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
-identify and describe the main current literary currents
-analyze literary text
