Course objectives
1) Gravitational field in relativistic and non-relativistic mechanics, curvilinear coordinates, distances and time intervals, metric, tensors 2) Covariant differentiation, Christoffel symbols 3) Geodesic equations, motion of a particle in a spherically symmetric field 4) Test fields in a curved spacetime 5) The curvature tensor 6) The Einstein equations 7) Schwarzschild solution, physics of black holes 8) Three classical tests of General Relativity. 9) Quasinormal modes of black holes 10) Introduction in Cosmology, Friedmann equations
