Course objectives
The course consists of a discussion part, devoted to the assignment of studio exercises, and a practical part, devoted to individual independent work of students in the Unisphere. The students, with the participation of teachers and independently, carry out the assigned studio exercises at least within the scope of the hourly allowance. Exercises are team and independent. The aim is to master the procedures for creating programmes for spherical projection on the basis of the assigned exercises. In this semester, the focus is on mastering the creation of the visual side of a spherical astronomy-themed show based on a pre-specified script using the Digistar 7 environment in scripting mode and using the extension of visualizations with other science disciplines or scripts from the DUG cloud.
