- Course objectives
- LECTURE This course is an overview of criminology, the science filling the information gap between the social pathologies and penology. The aim is to understand the concept, object, tasks and development of criminology, also recognize the motivation of individuals committing crimes and gaining insight into the situation of victims of crime especially in the field of psychology and psychotherapy. The important thing is considered to be familiar with the structure of crime prevention programs in the Czech Republic as well as strategies to combat crime in general. SEMINAR The aim of the seminar is to introduce current topics in the field of criminology, criminalistics, forensic psychology, victimology, and also the possibilities of using the knowledge of the disciplines especially in caregiving professions
