The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The development of non-profit organizations is one of the indicators of the state of civil society. The aim of the course is to provide the students with compact information regarding rules of management of non-profit organizations within the Czech republic as well as in international comparison and enable them to orientate rationally when solving real problems. The lectures are focused especially on: - current state and trends of development of non-profit organizations in the Czech republic and comparison of this state with selected countries of EU - presentation of priorities of individual social policies which can be the impulse for activity of non-profit organizations and main realization programme documents - peculiarities of management of non-profit organizations - presentation of actual information sources Seminar component accents especially a role of development projects as important possibility of realization of targets of non-profit organizations. It will enable the students to participate in solving partial project documents or analyse selected problem by the means of seminar paper. In the frame of lectures and seminars, the selected case studies or real projects are presented.
