- Course objectives
- The course follows Polish I and presupposes skills and knowledge which have been acquired. In this sense, it will gradually follow the structure of this subject. Grammar will be mentioned in logical continuity, pronunciation exercises will be added by fundamentals of Polish orthography and vocabulary will be enlarged by the most used phraseologisms. After passing the course, the students should be able of correct Polish pronunciation and reading of texts, managing of elementary communication situations and especially elementary language comprehension of grammatical system of Polish language which would lay the basis for further development of the language towards independent work with text.

- 1. 2nd case of masculine nouns in plural and singular and 2nd case of feminine and neuter nouns
2. 3rd and 6th case of nouns in singular
3. 2nd case of nouns and possessive pronouns , phrases jest and nie ma
4. Adjectives (classification and description) - inflection of adjectives, their 1st, 2nd and 4th case
5. Gradation of adjectives and comparison
6. Pronouns (classification and description) - personal, interrogative and reflexive
7. Numerals (classification and description) - inflection of cardinal numbers
8. Past time and its formation
9. Past time of verbs być and iść
10. Adverbs and their gradation, prepositions and conjunctions
11. Future time formation
12. Imperative and conditional mood
