Course objectives
The course assists students in learning health-specific vocabulary in German, mastering correct pronounciation and understanding German medical discourse. During the course, students should: make progress in their knowledge of German, expand their medical/nursing terminology, enhance their pronounciation, learn to understand German discourse in the health area, develop logical thinking abilities, as well as precision of expression and verbal discernment.

    2.Infectious diseases. Prevention of infection. Vaccination
    3. Diet and nutrition. Principles of therapeutic nutrition
    4. Medication. Administration of medication, adverse effects, natural remedies

    7. Medical equipment, instruments and consumables
    8. Home care
    9. Social problems of youth
    10. Communication in in-patient and out-patient care
