- General Knowledge:
Based on their knowledge of the present state of development in nonprofit sector, students demonstrate the knowledge from the area of the structure of nonprofit organizations and their management.
Expert Skills:
Students are able to select an adequate type of nonprofit organization with respect to the specifics of its management. Students are able to orient themselves in the current issues of co-financing form different sources. They are able to match various financial sources to their potential use in various types of nonprofit organizations. They are able to assess the relevance of a particular project intention. In practice, they are able to plan simple projects of acquiring necessary financial sources or are able to participate in larger projects. They are able to assess the project feasibility and effectiveness.
General Competency:
Students are able to utilize the acquired skills actively in their work for nonprofit organizations or in a wider concept as project managers. They will gradually widen the measure of their independence and the extent of their potential employment in dependance on their activities in this area. Students are able to match an adequate type of nonprofit organization to particular subject areas. Students are able to orient themselves in particular operation programmes, to match a suitable method of financing to a given target object and to process partial documents. They are able to coordinate their activities in a project solution team and to bear responsibility within the sphere of their competency. Passive employment of knowledge and skills is possible in the area of project assessment or various analyses and external examinations.
The knowledge and skills are employable in a wide range of activities.

- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to provide students with comprehensive information about the potential of using project information in nonprofit organizations. The subject features particular types of nonprofit organizations and the specific features of their management. Further, it features various EU policies leading to removing regional disparities and accentuates the role of development projects in removing these disparities.

6. Information sources for nonprofit organization management.
7. The position of development projects in the work of nonprofit organizations.
8. Programme documents for project financing.
9. Determining individual priorities.
10. The principles of the project solution procedure

12. The potential of regional or euro-regional co-operation.
