Course objectives
Objectives: Developing communicative skills of the students. Expanding general vocabulary and deepening knowledge of grammar phenomena in practical training. Leading students to independent coherent expression of ideas. The course also deepens the knowledge of Russian culture and institutions. Teaching Methods Dialogue in the form of an interview, working with texts - reading and listening. Emphasis is placed on practising the subject matter with the main focus on developing speech skills. The instruction is based on the principles of the common European framework of reference for languages. Acquired Competences: Completing the course, students will be at level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference - students understand sentences and words relating to their person and their surroundings. They can lead very easy and simple conversations with the speaker. They can independently express only the basic ideas of themselves using familiar phrases from the language study. They can fill out short forms asking about themselves.
