Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce students to modern information and communication technologies and implementation of technologies to practice. It will increase the basic knowledge and skills in working with digital technology, the use of computers to obtain, process, classify and categorize data, as well as the representation of information and knowledge with the help of modern ICT. Students will understand the principle of sharing information, using of modern communications of global network. With the increasing of involvement of Czech companies and organizations to international cooperation there is also a growing need of management techniques in the field of ICT. It includes project management and project style of the company or organization by using ICT. Students will gain skills in ICT implementation that are required by practice.
Syllabus
  • 1st Modern information and communication technologies (hardware and software platform)
    2nd Searching, processing, classification and categorization of data, sorting and sharing information, available applications in environment and in environment of global networks, validity of information
    3rd Managing, document sharing and experience through modern technology
    4th Practical use of digital and mobile technologies
    5th Multimedia presentation, export to web
    6th E -learning and videoconferencing transmissions
    7th Communication means off-line and on-line
    8th Interactive objects and interactive whiteboard as a source for modern methods of presentation
    9th Management techniques and the application for project management by using a computer
    10th Case study of project management with ICT to selected practical role, development of business by the support of ICT
    11th Working in social networks, access to digital resources
    12th Development of communication skills based on ethical and moral rules, security of information, security policy and legislation in the Intranet and Internet network
