Course objectives (in Czech)
The course is divided into two themes. The first one extends the basic theoretical knowledge about the structure, functioning and comparison of political systems, the second is focused on obtaining the necessary empirical knowledge about liberal democractic political systems of Western Europe and USA. Students will receive information on constitutional and political regimes, party and electoral systems, the most importatnt interest groups and organizations as well as the structure of public administration in the surveyed countries.
