- Course objectives
- Education in modern methods of social work is essential for preparing future social workers for practice that reflects the current needs and challenges of society. Key topics: motivational interviews, family group conferences, project management in social work.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will learn to recognize when and how to effectively use motivational interviews, family group conferences, and project management in social work practice. They will perfect their skills in planning and implementing these methods with the aim of supporting client empowerment, improving family dynamics, and increasing the success of interventions focused on community development. They will gain an understanding of how these methods promote collaboration among social workers, clients, and other professionals (transdisciplinarity in social work).
